A dental emergency is an emergency related to your teeth and jaw. If you’ve suffered an injury to your mouth and jaw, or lost some teeth, or feel severe tooth pain, these are all considered dental emergencies. If you cannot bear the pain or need urgent advice, give us a call for directions.

When a tooth gets knocked out unexpectedly, the most important thing to do is to remain calm. Call our office to arrange an emergency appointment when it is safe to do so. If there is any bleeding, you can use warm water to clear the mouth. If a tooth is partially dislodged, leave it in place. If the tooth comes out, store it inside your mouth or in a cup of saliva or milk to prevent it from drying out until you see the dentist.
